This policy explains what data Aforeworn (“we”) collects, why we collect it, and the choices you have. We keep it short and plain because that’s how we think privacy should work.
What we collect
- Account & contact data — the email address you give us when you subscribe, sign in, or request the weekly digest, plus the niches and jurisdictions you choose to monitor. If you pay by card, our payment processor handles your card details; we never see or store full card numbers. If you pay in USDC, we store the wallet address you optionally provide for your own records.
- Usage analytics — basic, first-party product analytics such as pages viewed, buttons clicked, and where in the signup funnel you are. This helps us understand what’s working and fix what isn’t.
- Technical data — standard request information (approximate location from IP, browser type, timestamps) needed to operate and secure the service.
How we use it
- To deliver the core service: monitoring your chosen niches and sending you change alerts and digests.
- To send account and billing messages (sign-in links, receipts, renewal and cancellation notices).
- To improve the product using aggregated, first-party analytics.
- To keep the service secure and prevent abuse.
What we don’t do
We never sell your email or personal data, and we don’t share it with advertisers or data brokers. We only share data with the vendors that make the service work — for example, our payment processor and our email delivery provider — and only to the extent needed to provide the service.
Email & unsubscribing
Every alert and digest email includes a one-click unsubscribe link, and you can manage or pause your subscription any time from your account portal. Essential account and billing messages (like sign-in links and receipts) are sent as part of the service you’ve signed up for.
Data retention
We keep your account data for as long as you have an account. When you cancel and ask us to delete your data, we remove your personal data within a reasonable period, except where we’re required to retain limited records (for example, billing records for tax purposes).
Your choices
You can request access to, correction of, or deletion of your personal data at any time by emailing us. We’ll respond promptly.
